General information

Dear colleagues and friends,

We hope this message finds you well. As we reflect on the past and the cherished memories of EMCAP, we recognize the challenges posed by the pandemic and its impact on our traditional conference format. However, in the spirit of adaptation and innovation, we are thrilled to announce the evolution of our event: a series of four ESSAP-Days.

Each ESSAP-Day marks a departure from the traditional biannual huge Masterclasses. These one-day events will be focused on core topics in anesthesia and perioperative care, featuring top-tier speakers delivering up-to-date lectures. But that’s not all—our new format promises even more interaction, ensuring an enriching experience for all attendees.

On a Saturday, over the course of 8 intensive hours, we will provide a comprehensive update on anesthesia and perioperative care in selected fields, curated by experts.
Following the educational sessions, you’ll have the remainder of the weekend to savor the delights of Rotterdam. With its vibrant summer atmosphere, the city offers an array of experiences to enjoy—whether it’s relaxing on terraces, exploring beaches, marveling at the harbor, admiring the architecture, or indulging in the rich cultural and culinary scene.

We sincerely believe that this new concept aligns with your professional needs while offering a refreshing blend of education and leisure. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to one of our ESSAP-Days and creating new memories together.

Warm regards,

Caroline van der Marel
